British Council

The British Council’s Link2Learn Awards 2007 recognised and celebrated international educational partnerships and were open to primary, secondary and special schools, and local authorities.

HSBC provided the prizes, to the tune of £25,000. Working to particularly tight and testing deadlines, Spark & Fuse advised on the structure and legal aspects of the competition, including the judging criteria, and drew up the all-important terms and conditions.

We set up the entry mechanism, administered a dedicated email address for queries about the competition, and put together the copy, design and print for the leaflets, which contained the entry form.

We also oversaw the judging process itself. This meant checking each entry (entrants had to provide detailed statements backed up by substantial evidence) to confirm that it was valid and helping to recruit judges, as well as being there on the judging day to advise on legal issues and ensure that everything ran smoothly.
